Public Lecture: “Issues with Female-Specific Drugs and Effects of Medication Among Female Population”

On 29th of March, the UG School of Health Sciences and Public Health will host the public lecture- “Issues with Female-Specific Drugs and Effects of Medication Among Female Population”.
Lecture will be conducted by Head of the Pharmacy Department - Prof. Ms. Elza Nikoleishvili.
Lecture will focus on the following issues:

• Perspectives of gender medicine
• Medication therapy during pregnancy and lactation
• Specific issues of medication therapy especially in a population of young women taking into consideration anatomic and physiologic characteristics of women and men in relation to diseases and medication therapy.
